Not too long ago I learnt a new term while I was browsing through motherhood forums – Stay At Home Moms, or SAHMs. I also read about SAHMs ‘complaining’ about how they had ‘no time’ to plan for their kids birthday parties!
And here I was thinking about how I should quit work to free up more time to plan K’s party! What do you think? Do working mothers, or SAHMs, have more free time?

I just spent a very long time part-manually part-automatically transferring old posts from one of my two previous blogs – it was a super painful process, and even then, the “comments” visitors have made are lost. :(
Need to remind myself of the pain and minimize blog movements in future!

8 days since we returned.
A whirlwind of settling in, settling K in, settling back to work, settling the bills, the house, settling… just stuff.
In other news, great addition to the family (not our contribution). Super happy and looking forward to the big day :)
P.S. It’s been 10 years. Stop stalking me!

I used to own more than 100 pairs, one in every colour for every occasion. After baby came about, I had to stop wearing them as my ears would probably drop off with his insistent tugging on any pair of earrings I wore (even the studs). So the collection dwindled.
Now that K is too heavy to be carried in the stroller or walking most of the time, think it’s time to rev up my collection again!
P.S. I usually get my earrings online, and from what I’ve been looking at in the past few days, prices of handmade collections online have skyrocketed! I could get a decent pair for $20 previously, but am looking at collections for over $50 now!! (Or perhaps my taste has just skyrocketed..)

Haven’t been posting these couple of days cause MY laptop has been dominated by the husband!! (I don’t blame him though, cause the poor thing has been holed up doing his crazy number of essays and presentations.)
Still, it takes some getting used to being separated this long (from the laptop) and if not for my brilliant iPhone and the wireless connection, I might have gone berserk. Yes, that’s how attached I am to the Internet.
Aiming to update tomorrow! :)
