The husband and I have been married for nearly three years now, with the most momentous day(s) of our life being the proposal, and then the weddings. The excitement never quite ended there though, and we welcomed into the world our small tot on 10 June 2010.
We dated for two years, sometimes across continents, but always made it back together :) Married life is all we’ve imagined it to be, and better. Honest. (If you haven’t already, try it and you’ll get what we mean!)
Having designed our own place and lived in it for 2 years, we’ve already developed ideas for our next house, and are on a constant lookout for the perfect one to redesign into our dream apartment. We also like eating and travelling, and even managed to make it to Hawaii for a short-term stay, with a 10-month-old baby in tow. We are perpetually planning for our next vacation (5 or more this year!), and in between, relax by indulging in couple spa sessions.
If you’re the type that needs stats, I’m 28 this year. The husband is 33. I’m a lost-cause banker who migrated into the world of public service. The husband remains a banker. We’re blessed with relatively well-paying jobs that allow us to lead a comfortable life, and accommodating and educated parents whom we can trust to love, educate, and discipline our little one. (Yes, we’re only planning on one.)
Finally, we have quite a number of things to accomplish and look forward to this year, but you can read all about it here. In any case, welcome (if this is the first time you’re visiting), do leave a comment, and enjoy reading! :)
