It’s been a dreary week – non stop working, attending to calls at midnight, SMSes over the weekend… Expectations to work over nights and weekends have ballooned to the point where deadlines are now “midnight today” or ”Sunday noon”.
The compensation definitely doesn’t commensurates with the dedication the organisation expects of its employees, and increasingly, “the other side” is beckoning. Have seen some interesting propositions in recent weeks, but nothing fancy enough yet; yet being the key word.
Maybe a migration is in order.
